Pilippe le Hardy is Burgundy's first « DJuc ». A masked character straight out of the Middle Ages, he reinvents the codes of electronic music by blending techno, eurodance and Burgundian heritage into a world as absurd as it is unifying. His name nods to Philippe le Hardi, first Duke of Burgundy, whose historical legacy he hijacks with humour to give birth to a resolutely contemporary character.
Conceived as a true transmedia universe, the project lives through music, videos, social media and live performances in the colours of Burgundy — strong storytelling, an instantly recognisable visual identity and humour that reaches far beyond electronic music crowds.
His electro cover of the « Ban Bourguignon » quickly went viral, picked up by regional media and aired on the France 3 morning show. In barely two months: over 1 million views on social media, tens of thousands of streams and a community of several thousand followers.
