PILIPPE LE HARDY

Pilippe le Hardy is Burgundy's first « DJuc ». A masked character straight out of the Middle Ages, he reinvents the codes of electronic music by blending techno, eurodance and Burgundian heritage into a world as absurd as it is unifying. His name nods to Philippe le Hardi, first Duke of Burgundy, whose historical legacy he hijacks with humour to give birth to a resolutely contemporary character.

Conceived as a true transmedia universe, the project lives through music, videos, social media and live performances in the colours of Burgundy, strong storytelling, an instantly recognisable visual identity and humour that reaches far beyond electronic music crowds.

His electro cover of the « Ban Bourguignon » quickly went viral, picked up by regional media and aired on the France 3 morning show. In barely two months: over 1 million views on social media, tens of thousands of streams and a community of several thousand followers.
